Farmer surprised by mystery pig pen pumpkin patch

Most pigs are happy rooting around in the mud but one in Cornwall has appeared to have taken up gardening.

Matt Rawlinson said he was "very surprised" to find pumpkins growing in a paddock which is home to Gloria the saddleback pig.

Gloria was fed some leftover pumpkins last Halloween at her farm near St Austell, and 12 months on, she has her own pumpkin patch.

"It's not only pumpkins we found growing she's had tomatoes, spuds as well they've been growing so it's quite amazing really," Rawlinson said.
