Family brave 200-mile tuk-tuk odyssey for charity

A family have set off on a 200-mile (322 km) coast-to-coast ride across England in a tuk-tuk to raise money for charity.

Chris Bee, 42, from Dunston, near Lincoln, is driving his wife and two sons in the three-wheeled vehicle from Skegness to Blackpool.

They set off on Friday morning and are hoping to arrive at their destination on Sunday afternoon to raise funds for the Race Against Dementia charity.

Chris said he came up with the idea in honour of his 60-year-old mum, who has the condition.

He chose a tuk-tuk because his sons had loved riding in one on holiday.
