Watch: Planes wow crowd as coastal airshow returns
Video showed aeroplanes taking to the skies above the North Sea as Clacton Airshow got under way in Essex.
Flights including the Red Arrows and a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress delighted the crowd gathered on the seafront on Thursday.
However, heavy rainfall meant a Battle of Britain memorial flight and two spitfires were grounded in the morning.
Dave Walton, the flying display director, said the weather had been challenging and Friday's show "might be affected" too.
