Busy Inverclyde road closed due to crash

A busy Inverclyde road has been closed in both directions due to a crash.

Emergency services were called to the A8 Greenock Road between the Woodhall roundabout in Port Glasgow and the B789 Main Road in Langbank at around 19:05.

Reports on social media suggest the incident involved cars and a number of cyclists.

Emergency services are in attendance. Drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
