Arrests made in investigation into Presbyterian Church in Ireland
BBCTwo people have been arrested as part of an investigation into safeguarding concerns at the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
There have been 127 contacts made with police from potential victims or witnesses, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.
Their investigation into the church was announced in November last year.
It came after the church said there were "serious and significant failings in the central safeguarding functions of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland from the period 2009 to 2022".
The PSNI said their investigation is continuing and they are working "closely with partner agencies to ensure a safeguarding-led approach throughout the investigation".
BBC News NI has contacted the Presbyterian Church in Ireland for comment.
