'I married my toyboy during a three-day bender'
SuppliedA bride wasted no time getting boozy after marrying her "toyboy" boyfriend and heading to a beer festival during what she described as a "three-day bender".
Sally Mills and Nick Wall, from Bury St Edmunds, in Suffolk, tied the knot at a register office on the 29 August before going to the East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival in the town's cathedral.
The 61-year-old and 54-year-old, who have been together for 20 years, drank and danced the night away – including an impromptu performance from Sally on-stage.
"We were going to go back for a rest, but after the joviality of everything, the jollities, and a bit of alcohol, we decided to continue to the festival, it was fantastic," she said.
"There were good bands, good booze, and I got thrown on the stage, performing like an aged rock star - a cross between Madonna and Tina Turner.
"It doesn't happen very often at my age, but I'm still going for it. I don't know if I should be allowed out anymore to drink at my age, but it was good fun."
SuppliedSally's wild wedding weekend started on Friday with a meal and a hotel stay with her daughter and their friends that "got a bit messy" on the eve of her big day.
"We were meant to be in bed by nine, but we weren't, so the start to Saturday wasn't the best, but it happened," she added.
"Thank goodness people took photographs."

SuppliedAfter getting married, Sally, her new husband and their friends and family, enjoyed a blessing ceremony, a buffet, and a "bit of a dance and a laugh" before making their way to the beer festival.
"Some people went back for a rest, but I certainly didn't, but everyone did meet up and it was a great night – it was all part of the wedding plan," she said.
"On the Sunday, we had another bash at a lovely venue - a party for about 130 people, and guess what? Drink, again. It was a three-day bender really.
"I was aching more than my head was, I don't know if that's a good thing, but I was feeling better on Monday morning than I did on Saturday morning."

SuppliedSally and Nick started dating two decades ago after becoming neighbours and being introduced to each other by their then young children.
Having both been divorced, the pair first decided to get married 11 years ago, but they postponed the ceremony following the death of Nick's dad.
"We got here in the end and I've invested on a gentleman seven years younger than me with hope he'll look after me in my aged years," said Sally.
"I've been married twice before, so I wasn't making that mistake again – lovely Nick is my toyboy."
