A man, 43, has died in a crash involving a parked vehicle in the village of Ashington

A man has died in a crash involving a parked vehicle in West Sussex, police have said.

The driver and sole occupant of the car – a 43-year-old man from Surrey – died at the scene in London Road, Ashington, at about 22:30 BST on Saturday.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has relevant dashcam footage is urged to contact the force.
