Fire crews rescue flock of sheep from river

Firefighters have helped a farmer after six of his sheep got stuck in a river.

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service was called to Stapleford Abbotts near Epping after the members of the flock got into difficulties.

Two crews from Chelmsford were called to the scene at 14:56 BST on Tuesday and left at about 17:40.

On social media, a spokesperson for the fire service said: "Well done to our baa-rilliant animal rescue specialist."
