Murder charge after woman's tower block death

A man has been charged with murder after a 33-year-old woman was found dead at a block of flats in Manchester.

Amber O'Brien's body was discovered at about 18:30 BST in Broadmoss Drive in Blackley on Sunday, said Greater Manchester Police.

The force has confirmed that 31-year-old Stephan Garner, of Somerton Court in Blackley, has been charged with her murder.

He is set to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court later.
