Man charged with attempted murder following stabbing

A man was left in a serious condition as a result of the incident

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Lurgan, County Armagh, on Sunday afternoon.

The victim was left in a serious condition after being stabbed in the back at a property in the Grattan Street area.

A 34-year-old man was arrested a short distance away.

He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Monday.
