Woman found in caravan was strangled, inquest hears

Susan Lumsden was found by police inside a caravan at Overstone Lakes in Sywell, Northamptonshire, on 24 August after responding to calls about an assault.
Senior coroner Anne Pember said the provisional cause of death was "compression of the neck pending toxicology". The inquest has been adjourned until 10 March next year.
Nigel Lewis, 72, of Cherrytree Walk, who lived in the same caravan park, appeared at Northampton Crown Court earlier this month and was remanded into custody after being charged with her murder.
A plea hearing is due on 23 October, with a trial scheduled for 1 February at the same court.
Following her death, her family described her as a "beautiful person inside and out - fun, bubbly, caring and incredibly kind".
