Man charged with murder after fatal shooting
BBCA man has been charged with murder after a fatal shooting at a travellers' site.
Wiltshire Police said Shane Porter, 35, has been charged with the murder of Jimmy Ward, 36, who died at the site in Calcutt, near Cricklade, on Sunday.
Porter, of Calcutt Park, has been remanded into custody and is due to appear via video link at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Thursday. He has also been charged with possession of a shotgun without a certificate.
Eddie Porter, 74, and Tammy Brown, 42, both from Luton, have been charged with assisting an offender and possession of a shotgun without a certificate.
They have also been remanded into custody and are due to appear via video link at the same court on Wednesday.
Two other men arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on bail.
Ward was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting at 08:15 BST on Sunday.
Det Ch Insp Phil Walker said: "I'd like to express again my thanks to the local community for their patience and support since Sunday.
"I appreciate the significant concern this incident has generated, so please consider speaking with officers about any information or concerns you may have."
Locals have been told to expect an "increased policing presence" at the site in the coming days.
