Attempted murder suspect bailed after three injured
BBCA man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and dangerous driving after three pedestrians were hit by a car has been released on police bail.
Avon and Somerset Police said the incident happened on Stokes Croft in Bristol at about 06:30 BST on Sunday, following reports of a disturbance.
Three people were injured, with one taken to hospital, and the Best Buy Off License was also damaged.
A man police believe to be the car's driver was treated for facial injuries after his arrest. He has since been released on bail while investigations continue.
Officers said they do not believe there is any wider threat to the public.
Cordons placed on Thomas Street, Hepburn Road, Stokes Croft and City Road have been lifted.
