Fire crews are tackling a 200-acre blaze in a field in Suffolk.

The fire service said it was called at about 18:45 BST on Saturday to the "fire in a stubble field". It said about 80 hectares of cut straw, trees and hedgerow were "well alight".

Eighteen fire vehicles were at the scene. Nearby residents were told to keep doors and windows closed.

In an update at 21:30, a fire service spokesman said the blaze was under control but crews would remain at the field for several hours, damping down.
