A47 closed both ways after serious crash

A dual carriageway route was closed in both directions following a serious crash.

Part of the A47 in Cambridgeshire was shut earlier after a collision involving a car and a lorry, National Highways said.

Emergency services attended the incident near Wisbech, including the air ambulance, National Highways added.

The road has now reopened and the organisation said there were "no residual delays".
