Farmer died after trampling by cow, inquest hears
BBCAn inquest has heard an 80-year-old farmer died after she was trampled by a cow on her farm.
Jennifer Uglow from Whitstone near Holsworthy, Devon, was taken to Plymouth's Derriford Hospital following the incident on Wednesday 29 July but died 11 days later.
The inquest at Devon Coroner's Court in Exeter heard Uglow, who was originally from Cornwall, suffered multiple injuries to her chest.
The cause of death was found to be respiratory failure caused by chest wall trauma.
Uglow, of West Balsdon farm, had been treated in the hospital's intensive care unit before dying from her injuries on Sunday 9 August.
