Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is offering free parking at its car parks at Royal Victoria Place, Town Hall, Great Hall, Meadow Road, Torrington, The Pantiles, and Linden Park Road on Saturday 14 November for the Christmas Kick Off event.
The event is expected to bring thousands of people to the town, the council says.
Councillor Rob Wormington said: "By offering free parking throughout the day, we're making it easier for residents and visitors to enjoy the celebrations, discover everything our town has to offer and support local businesses at an important time of year."
The free event, which has been organised by Royal Tunbridge Wells Together BID, is on from 11:00 GMT to 19:00 in Mount Pleasant Road.
It will include market stalls, live entertainment, late-night shopping, a Christmas parade, and a fireworks finale.
