Pedestrian seriously hurt after being hit by car

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with injuries which paramedics say could be serious after he was hit by a car.

They were called to reports of the car hitting the man on School Road in Bulkington, Warwickshire, at about 07:50 BST on Thursday.

He was treated for his injuries at the scene before being taken to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, the ambulance service said.

Warwickshire Police was contacted for a response.
