Extension plan for town centre pre-school nursery
SUPPLIED/LDRSA pre-school nursery run by a charity has submitted plans for a three-storey extension at its current town centre site.
The Hebden Bridge Nursery Action Group Ltd has applied to Calderdale Council to build the extension at its Crossley Mill base on New Road.
The application said the not-for-profit nursery currently has to turn some children away as it cannot accomodate them and the development would also allow for the relocation and expansion of a holiday club, which is based elsewhere in town.
In a supporting statement, the nursey said it was "sensitive to the needs of the local community" and the building would fit "sympathetically with neighbouring properties".
Calderdale Council will decide on the application at a later date, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
