Car driver dies in crash with lorry

A man has died after his car crashed with a lorry.

The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A1139 Fletton Parkway, near the exit from the A1(M) in Peterborough at about 11:50 BST on Wednesday.

The driver of the white Xpeng G6, a 45-year-old man from the city, died at the scene.

Police have appealed for anyone to get in touch with information or dashcam footage of the collision or the vehicles in the time leading up to it.
