Motorcyclist dies in collision with bus

A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a bus in a West Sussex town centre, police have said.

Emergency services were called to The Boulevard, Crawley, at about 20:20 BST on Thursday.

A 39-year-old man from Crawley was pronounced dead at the scene, Sussex Police said.

His next of kin have been informed, a force spokesperson said.

The route was closed between the High Street and College Road for several hours.

An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing, police say.
