Man dies after a crash in Maguiresbridge

A young man has died following a one-car crash in County Fermanagh.

Shane Caulfield, 21, who was a passenger in a grey Volkswagen Golf, was pronounced dead at the scene.

It happened at about 01:30 BST on Friday in the Belfast Road area of Maguiresbridge.

Police said medical treatment was provided to the male driver and a female passenger at the scene before both were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have arrested the driver on suspicion of a number of related offences.

The Belfast Road which was closed in both directions, has now fully reopened
