E-bike rider killed in three-vehicle crash

A man has died in a crash involving an e-bike and two other vehicles in Leicester, police have said.

Leicestershire Police said the rider, a man in his 30s, died at the scene following the crash in Preston Rise, Hamilton, at about 12:15 BST on Monday.

No other injuries were reported and no arrests have been made, the force added.

The road was closed following the crash, which happened near to the junction with Cranesbill Road and reopened at about 18:20.

Officers from the force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and have asked for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
