Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries in a crash in Surrey.

The crash, which reportedly did not involve another vehicle, happened on the Old Epsom Road in East Clandon shortly before 17:15 BST on Saturday.

Surrey Police said the man, who was in his 40s, was taken to hospital.

Road closures were in place for several hours but have since been lifted, they added.
