A woman who died in a Cheshire car crash "cared endlessly and loved fiercely" her family has said in tribute.

Amarni Jessica Rose Walton, 20, from Chell in Stoke-on-Trent, was a passenger in an Audi which left the carriageway and collided with a Range Rover parked in a layby on Newcastle Road, Moreton.

Three other people in the Audi were seriously injured in the crash which happened on the evening of 1 May.

"She loved being with her friends and most of all, her family. She taught us all how to love fully and live in the moment," said the statement released through police.

Her family said Amarni was a "devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter and girlfriend who worked hard, cared endlessly and loved fiercely".

They added: "Though our hearts are broken, we will try to find some peace in the beautiful and funny memories she left us.

"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."

One occupant of the Range Rover also received hospital treatment, Cheshire Police said.

Det Sgt Iain Condliffe urged witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage, which could help with the investigation, to contact the police force.
