Two drivers seriously injured in car crash

Two men are in hospital with serious injuries following a crash near the border of North Yorkshire and East Yorkshire, police have said.

The collision happened at about 20:40 BST on Monday on the B1249 between Foxholes and Langtoft.

North Yorkshire Police said an 18-year-old man driving a blue Ford Fiesta and a 48-year-old man driving a blue Volvo V50 were involved in the crash.

Officers have appealed for witnesses and anyone who has dashcam footage or who saw either vehicle beforehand is being asked to contact them.

Police particularly want to hear from anyone who saw the Fiesta as it travelled through East Yorkshire before entering North Yorkshire.
