A 25-year-old woman has been released on bail following the stabbing in Kidderminster

A woman has been released on bail as police continue to investigate a stabbing in Worcestershire.

A man in his 20s was seriously injured but said to be in a stable condition following the attack on Woodbury Road in Kidderminster on Friday morning.

The 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm but later released on bail.

Det Insp Dave Knight, of West Mercia Police, said the stabbing was not connected to the nearby primary school and had not taken place on school premises.
