A motorcyclist has died after a crash in East Yorkshire.

The incident happened on the B1238, near Aldbrough, at about 19:50 BST on Thursday when the bike left the road and came to rest in a ditch, Humberside Police said.

The rider, a 37-year-old man, died at the scene, the force added.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and said an investigation into the circumstances of the incident was continuing.
