Arrest after car hits eight parked vehicles
Eddie MitchellA 41-year-old man has been arrested after a car being driven the wrong way down a road hit eight parked vehicles.
Sussex Police said it responded to reports of an intoxicated man in a car verbally abusing the public in Lewes Road, Brighton, at about16:50 BST on Sunday.
When officers arrived at the scene the vehicle had left, though it was found by The Level two hours later, a police spokesperson said.
Police said they tried to speak to the man, but he drove away.

Eddie MitchellPolice added that officers pursued the car to Morley Street, where it was driven the wrong way down the road and collided with eight parked cars.
Photos taken at the scene showed several vehicles had been damaged.
Sussex Police said "tactics" were used to bring the car to a stop and a man was detained.
He was taken to hospital and has since been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs, failing to stop, and breaching a court injunction, the force said.
No one was injured during the incident, police added.
