Three people were taken to hospital after a dog attack in Bolton, police said

Three people have been taken to hospital after being bitten in a dog attack, police said.

Officers were called to a property in Barrie Way, Bolton, at about 15:30 BST on Wednesday after reports of injuries, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed.

The force said a dog had been seized, but there are no details of its breed at this stage.

The force also said no arrests had been made and inquiries were ongoing.
