Police investigate woman's unexplained death

The death of a 20-year-old woman is being investigated by police after a post-mortem failed to establish an exact cause.

The woman's body was found after officers were called to a property on Haldane Street in Gainsborough just before 10:00 BST on Thursday.

Lincolnshire Police officers described the death as "unexpected" and said their inquiries continued.

The force said a 31-year-old man who had previously been arrested in connection with the investigation had subsequently been released on bail.
