Woman hit by car in 'targeted assault'
GoogleA woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car in a "targeted assault", police have said.
The woman in her 30s was hit by a car on Boltby Lane in Bradford just after 18:00 BST on Wednesday.
The black Kia Sorento then left the scene, leaving the victim with serious but non life-threatening injuries, West Yorkshire Police said.
The incident is being treated as a targeted assault and officers understand the woman and the driver are known to each other.
Det Insp Majahid Ashruff said the "consequences of such an act could clearly have been far worse".
"We are conducting multiple inquires to locate the driver and I would appeal to anyone who saw or has footage of what occurred to contact us," he added.
