The amended plans include 12 instead of 15 electric vehicle charging bays

Councillors have been asked to agree to changes to previously approved plans for an electric vehicle charging station and restaurant at North Kessock.

Developer West Coast Estates said last year the £6m development could create more than 100 jobs.

It has asked Highland Council's north planning applications committee to amend its original plan for 15 charging bays and one restaurant space, to 12 charging bays and three separate food outlets.

The proposals for site on an area of land between the Charleston roundabout and the A9 are opposed by the local community council.

A decision on the change is due to be made on Wednesday.
