Detectives hunt car linked to murder investigation
Essex PoliceDetectives investigating a murder are searching for a car believed to be linked to the case.
Essex Police said a man in his 20s was seen in the Waltham Abbey or Waltham Cross area before being found seriously injured in a car park in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, on 22 June.
The man, who police believe had been assaulted, was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Officers are appealing for information about a silver MG ZS, with the registration number ND70 EVN.
Its driver-side rear door is a slightly different colour from the rest of the car, having previously been replaced.
Det Ch Insp Greg Wood said: "We are at the early stage of our investigation, but we are very keen to find the silver MG ZS that the victim was in before his disappearance and subsequent death.
"We believe he was last in the Waltham Abbey or Waltham Cross area, and it is possible that his vehicle has been abandoned somewhere locally."
A man arrested as part of the investigation was later released on bail.
