Police officer accused of rape and sexual assault
Getty ImagesA police officer has been charged with rape and three counts of sexual assault.
Det Con Dan Livesley, 48, who works in the Bradford area for West Yorkshire Police, is due to appear before York Magistrates' Court on 30 June.
The charges relate to offences alleged to have taken place while Livesley was off duty, a force spokesperson said.
The investigation was carried out by North Yorkshire Police, with Livesley currently suspended from duty.
