Council listed jailed ex-mayor's taxi firm online
Hampshire and Isle of Wight ConstabularyA council whose former mayor was jailed after trying to cover up for her rapist son continued to feature her former taxi company on its website.
Naheed Ejaz, who served as Bracknell Forest Council's mayor between May 2023 and May 2024, was jailed for three years in April for perverting the course of justice.
Her Black & White Cars firm remained on the council's webpage of licensed operators until Tuesday.
The council apologised for the "out-of-date" page on its website and said it has removed it temporarily so it can "reinstate an accurate list".

Ejaz's son Diwan Khan was sent to prison alongside her in April. He was jailed for 12 years for the rape of a 15-year-old girl and perverting the course of justice.
Last week the council said there was "no evidence" that his extensive criminal past was checked before it issued him with a taxi driver's licence in 2021.
Former Labour councillor Ejaz ran a number of taxi companies, including Black & White Cars, which was dissolved in 2014.
The telephone number featured next to Black & White Cars' entry on the council's website was one used by Royal County of Berkshire Transport Limited, which Ejaz remains a director of.
She was a Labour councillor on Bracknell Forest Council between May 2023 and September 2024.
Damian James, the council's assistant director of contract services, said: "We apologise that this page was out-of-date on our website.
"The page listing licensed taxi firms has been temporarily removed while we update all of the information. We are working to reinstate an accurate list as quickly as possible."
