Wakefield Trinity bus parade: What you need to know
PA MediaWakefield Trinity fans are invited to descend on the city centre later for an open-top bus parade, after the side were crowned champions of the Super League.
Trinity beat Warrington Wolves 23-10 in Saturday night's Grand Final at Old Trafford in Manchester.
It marks their first title win since 1968, long before the Super League was established.
To celebrate the victory, a bus parade will take a lap through the city to Wakefield Town Hall for a civic reception.
A ticketed fan celebration at Wakefield Exchange (WX) will follow later in the day.
From road closures to timings, here's what you need to know.
The parade
Wakefield Trinity's bus parade will start from the club's home ground at Belle Vue at 13:30 BST.
The buses, carrying players and staff, will arrive at Wakefield Town Hall at about 15:00.
The roads visited on the route will be:

- Westmorland Street
- Northgate
- Rishworth Street
- Cliff Parade
- Drury Lane
- Westgate
- Marygate
- Northgate
- Rishworth Street
- Cliff Parade

- Westgate
- Wood Street
PA MediaWakefield Council has confirmed a small number of road closures will be in place to allow for the event, including Westgate, Marygate and Wood Street.
Visitors to the city centre are asked to avoid the parade route between 13:30 and 15:00 if possible, and plan extra time for journeys.
At the end of the parade, players and staff will enjoy a civic reception at the town hall, hosted by the council.
The fan event
Following the reception, a ticketed fan celebration is being held at WX on Union Street between 16:30 and 18:00 BST.
The event will include player appearances, speeches and highlights from the Grand Final on big screens, Trinity said.
The event is free, but tickets have already sold out. Entry cannot be guaranteed without a ticket.

"Huge credit goes to the players and coaching staff, as well as the ownership for their investment, ambition and commitment to rebuilding the team and taking the club forward."
Council leader Karl Johnson said he encouraged "everyone to come along and give the boys the welcome home they deserve".
"We can't wait to celebrate," he added.
