'Poodle Party' for dogs saved from crowded house
Jenny Kirk/BBCEight dogs who were among 250 found crammed into one home have been reunited with the RSPCA workers who cared for them.
The animals, all poodle crosses, were discovered in an undisclosed property in January. Eighty-seven were rescued by the RSPCA, others were taken in by the Dogs Trust.
On Saturday, the West Norfolk RSPCA Eau Brink rehoming centre, near King's Lynn, where the dogs had originally been taken, held a "Poodle party".
One of the party-going canines, Rufus, had been adopted by Karen and Glen Bix, from Aylsham. Karen Bix said Rufus had settled in to their home and was "doing really well".
Glen Bix said it had been "exciting" to meet the people who had rescued the other dogs too.
After sharing an image of dozens of dogs crammed into one room at the home of a breeder, the RSPCA had had to refute allegations the picture had been generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
