Bradford Council warned fly tippers "we will find you"

Bradford Council has warned fly tippers "we will find you and we will take action", after seizing a vehicle linked to multiple incidents across the district.

The van was removed from the Cutler Heights area by the council's environmental enforcement team, working with West Yorkshire Police, on 16 April as part of a targeted crackdown on illegal waste disposal.

An investigation is under way to gather further evidence and pursue legal action against those responsible, the council said.

A spokesperson added: "We are fully committed to fighting the illegal dumping of waste. We are grateful for the support we receive on this from West Yorkshire Police."

Bradford councillors last year backed an increase in penalty charges for fly tippers, with offenders facing fines of up to £1,000.
