Two dead and one injured in head-on crash

Two people have died following a head-on crash near the Lincolnshire market town of Crowland.

Emergency crews were called at about 18:45 BST on Friday to reports of a collision on the B1166 involving a red Hyundai and a grey Fiat.

The male driver of the Hyundai and his female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be serious, Lincolnshire Police said.

The force appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
