New images of missing woman last seen leaving hospital

More images of a woman who has not been seen since leaving a hospital have been released by detectives.

Holly Collinson, 29, was last seen leaving Royal Cornwall Hospital, in Truro, during the morning of 31 March.

Devon and Cornwall Police said prior to being reported missing by her family in Leicestershire on 10 April, she had travelled to Cornwall, specifically the Newquay area.

After she left hospital, detectives believe she got on a bus carrying her guitar, which was not in a case, and a crutch, while wearing bags on her feet and carrying a clear bag of belongings. She is described as white, slim, 5ft 7in, with blue eyes and dark hair, which was dyed a plum to red colour towards the top.

On one of the last sightings of her, she was seen wearing a black coat, black trousers and a short sleeve Adidas shirt.

She had below-shoulder length straight black hair, with the upper half dyed a plum to red colour and the bottom half darker.

"She may also now be using a crutch to assist her," a police spokesperson said.

A day prior to attending hospital, police said CCTV footage captured Holly on Tregolls Road in Truro.

The force said it anticipated she might have changed her clothing after leaving the hospital, adding she was known to travel on Cornwall's bus network.

Police said Holly's belongings were also pictured at a caravan site in the Newquay area but had since been removed. Detectives appealed for information regarding the whereabouts of them.

Det Sgt David Squire said they had received a "number of calls" from the public with information and possible sightings.

"These have so far not led us to locate her," he said.

"We are working tirelessly to try and find Holly and, although these new images may seem like small clues, we are hoping they may prove significant in some way."

Investigators thanked those who had contacted them or shared their appeals and continued to ask the public to report anything they might have noticed that did not "seem right" or had "stuck in their minds since".

Police said officers had heard from a number of members of the public who suggested an e-fit issued in relation to a body found in Camborne at the beginning of May bore a similarity to Holly.

The police force added: "We can confirm that this isn't the case but would like to thank those who got in touch."

Investigators understand Holly had been using a Samsung A52 mobile phone and an iPhone and described the guitar as a black Takamine electric acoustic guitar, with an identifiable feature being that it was missing a battery pack leaving a four-inch hole at the topside of the guitar.

Anyone with information, "no matter how small" they might think it could be, is urged to contact police.
