Warning to locals after fire breaks out at Perth recycling centre

Fire crews have responded to blaze at a recycling centre in Perth.

Four appliances, a water carrier and a height vehicle were tackling the fire at the Friarton Bridge Park on Saturday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service warned local residents there was "heavy smoke" in the area as a result of the incident.

They advised those living nearby to keep windows and doors closed as a precautionary measure.
