A French company that sells lost and undelivered parcels is coming to Wolverhampton.

King Colis gives shoppers 10 minutes to select and examine the unmarked packages and then pay for them by the weight, without knowing what is inside.

The company said every year millions of packages went undelivered and it had saved and resold more than 2,000 tonnes of parcels that would otherwise have been destroyed since it started in 2023.

It will be at the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton from 19 to 25 May.

King Colis also sells the parcels online, but runs pop-ups like the one in Wolverhampton all over Europe.

It described its sales as a "real-life treasure hunt" and CEO and co-founder Killian Denis said: "In France, one customer discovered a small collectible gold bar, while in Italy someone found an ultra-rare Pokémon card valued at £2,000."

Laura Taylor from the Mander Centre said she hoped it would be something "fresh and exciting" to draw in shoppers.
