Child seriously injured after being hit by motorbike

A child has been seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle.

The Suzuki motorcycle collided with the child, a pedestrian, at about 13:10 GMT in Howe Lane, Poringland, on Sunday.

Norfolk Police said the child was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where they remain in a serious but stable condition.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving and a second man, also in his 20s, has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
