Woman, 88, dies after crash between two cars
Getty ImagesAn 88-year-old woman has died following a crash involving two cars in Sheffield, police have said.
Emergency services were called to Ranmoor Park Road at 12:45 BST on Sunday, when a red Honda Jazz and a grey Nissan Note collided near St John's Church.
The woman, who was a passenger in the Honda Jazz, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later died.
An 88-year-old man who was driving the car was taken to hospital with injuries but has since been discharged. Two passengers, a man and woman in their 80s, suffered minor injuries.
South Yorkshire Police has urged anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have relevant footage to come forward.
