Creamfields 2026 festival guide: Everything you need to know

Creamfields gets under way later at the Daresbury Estate in Cheshire, marking the dance music festival's 20th anniversary.

More than 250 artists will perform across several stages over the next four days.

About 80,000 people are expected to attend and will watch acts including Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia and Sonny Fodera.

Creamfields runs from Thursday 27 August until Sunday 30 August.

The festival site is located on the Daresbury Estate in Daresbury, Cheshire.

It is off the A56, close to the M56.

Campsites open at 12:00 BST on Thursday and will close at 12:00 on Monday.

Day ticket entry times vary, with last entry to the site at 21:00 each day.

Bringing together the biggest and most influential names in electronic music, the Creamfields 2026 line-up features Swedish House Mafia, Amelie Lens presents AURA and Disclosure.

There will also be live performances from Faithless and Underworld, as well as global legends including Calvin Harris, Carl Cox and Martin Garrix.

Beyond the music, there will also be fitness, wellness and sport facilities as part of the festival's Downtown Village.

The Sunrise Strip will house the Creamfields Gymnasium and, for the first time, there will be two padel courts.

A darts challenge and a football tournament are also set to take place.

As part of wellness offerings, pilates sessions, yoga, meditation and sound baths will be on offer and a quiet sensory corner featuring jigsaws and colouring activities will feature as retreat from the energy of the festival.

Big Green Coach will offer carbon-neutral return services directly to the festival's coach park, with a number of national pick-up locations.

There is also a Creamfields shuttle bus service operating to and from Liverpool, Manchester, and Warrington, plus a return-only service operating to Runcorn and Widnes.

The nearest train stations to the festival site are Runcorn Station, Warrington Central, Warrington Bank Quay and Liverpool Lime Street which will have shuttle buses operating to and from the site.

There are taxi drop-offs and pick-up sites and also car-parking on site.

There will be an increased police presence with officers working in collaboration with Creamfields' security.

Cheshire Police said while it would be "business as usual within the local policing areas of Warrington and Runcorn", there would also be a dedicated team of community officers addressing specific concerns arising directly from the festival.

"Our main priorities are to ensure the safety of festival goers and to minimise disruption for residents during the event, as well as deal with any crime or disorder associated with the festival," a spokesperson for the force said.

"As with any large-scale event, we anticipate some level of disruption for residents, particularly on roads in the local area.

"We want to reassure residents that we will be doing all we can to minimise any impact."
