Rail disruption as emergency incident blocks lines

National Rail said emergency services were called to an incident between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton at about 07:35 BST on Friday.
In an update, a spokesperson said all lines had since re-opened, but disruption was expected until at least 12:45 BST.
Trains running between the stations might be cancelled or delayed by up to 90 minutes as services return to normal.
The incident has affected Transport for Wales services between Llandudno Junction, Crewe and Birmingham International, and West Midlands Railway services between Shrewsbury and Birmingham New Street.
Rail replacement buses were in operation between Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wolverhampton, with trains currently unable to call at Codsall in Staffordshire, National Rail said.
Tickets could be used on some alternative services, the firm added, with passengers advised to check journeys before travelling.
