Police believe the people pictured may have information about a string of "huge thefts" and want them to get in touch

The images of 18 people have been released by police in West Yorkshire as the force said it was looking for a group of shoplifters believed to be responsible for stealing goods worth £20,000 from a single retailer.

Officers said they were keen to talk to the people pictured as they believed they may have information about the six-month campaign against Braford-based supermarket Morrisons.

Officers said the "huge thefts" had taken place at the retailer and mainly affected stores in the firm's home city - but had spread to other areas of the county too.

A force spokesperson said: "It's believed the people in these pictures could be from anywhere in West Yorkshire and are known to each other."
