Man,75, dies and woman seriously injured in crash

A man has died and a woman has suffered serious injuries following a crash involving three vehicles in Bicester.

The crash on Tuesday involved a black Peugeot 106, grey Honda HR-V and a blue Scania flat-bed truck at the Wretchwick Way and Peregrine Way junction at about 10:00 BST.

Thames Valley Police said the 75-year-old driver of the Peugeot died in the crash and a passenger remains in hospital with serious injuries. Police said their next of kin had been informed and were being supported.

The driver of the Honda suffered minor injuries and the truck driver was uninjured. The force has appealed for witnesses and any drivers with dash cam footage to come forward.
