Two killed in crash between cars and lorry
GoogleTwo men have been killed in a crash involving two cars and a lorry in Herefordshire.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a Vauxhall Astra, a Citroen C3 Picasso and a DAF lorry on the A49 in Dinmore, at about 16:10 BST on Tuesday.
The Vauxhall's driver, a man in his 40s, and a passenger, a man in his 20s, died at the scene, West Mercia Police said.
A 59-year-old arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving while unfit through drink or drugs had since been released on bail as inquiries continued, the force added.
It is appealing for witnesses or anyone who was travelling in the area at the time that may have captured relevant dashcam footage to get in contact.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed the passenger had died and said the Vauxhall driver was found in a critical condition at the scene and given advanced life support.
"Sadly, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was also confirmed deceased on scene a short time later," they said.
